GEOFF ROWLEY ENJOYS A SOCIALLY DISTANCED CONVO WITH 'THE NINE CLUB'

The legendary skater stopped in for a nice chat.

If you are of a certain age, you know the name, Geoff Rowley. Not just because of his skills on board, of course. Rowley is one of the skaters featured in the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater. With only a handful of skaters to choose from, we know you skated as Rowley at least a few times, especially if you liked grinding rails more than getting air. Rowley is still around and still skating, and he recently talked with the podcast The Nine Club.

The weekly podcast actually had a long chat with Rowley last April. We’re talking nearly three hours of conversation. However, Nine Club host Chris Roberts has been in a tricky situation due to physical distancing because of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, he’s been doing something he calls “Stop and Chat” where he’s had talks with past guests. It’s a chance for him to catch up with some folks, and that includes Rowley. And Rowley was stopped down for a while. This conversation is almost two-and-a-half hours. If you are looking for a long chat with a skating legend, give it a watch/listen.
