Eddie Belvedere Skates Through a Locked Down Cornwall

COVID didn’t keep him from grabbing his board

We never expected to live in a world where we talked about quarantine skate videos and skaters shooting solo videos with their phones. Alas, that is the nature of the beast in 2020, and that hasn’t changed. Recently, a new wave of lockdowns have happened across the globe. That didn’t stop Eddie Belvedere from putting together a new video that was recently premiered by Vague, the famed British skateboarding mag. His new part was filmed entirely during a lockdown.

Specifically, the Death Skateboards member was skating up in Cornwall while it was locked down. The city definitely has a dearth of people in the streets, given that stores were shut down and people were being instructed to stay inside. Belvedere was not staying inside, but it seemed like he was keeping his distance from other people. As much as we love skating, we also love people not being reckless during a global pandemic. We’re hoping Belvedere obeyed safety protocols while making his video for Vague. No great skate spot is worth risking people’s health.
