DAMIEN PHILIPPE HAS A PANDEMIC PART FOR US
Hopefully the name isn’t relevant much longer
There were many pandemic parts in 2020, which is to say parts shot during a pandemic. While many of them were impressive, they could also be eerie, uncanny, or altogether strange. Empty streets and social distancing have never been the norm in skating videos before. Now, Damien Philippe, who skates for Jart, has a new part called, fittingly, Pandemic. We’ve all tried to keep busy in these troubled time, and Philippe has done that through skating. He ended up with this quick part from the circumstances, which was filmed by Achille Isnard. Soon enough we will hopefully be seeing more traditional skate parts and get some normalcy. Until then, enjoy Philippe’s Pandemic above.
