CHECK OUT RICHIE JACKSON TELLING TALES IN 'THE G FILES'

Titus Skates sat down with the eccentric skater for their interview series.

Richie Jackson looks like the guy who stepped in as the replacement bass player for a ‘70s rock band. You know, there was a rift in 38 Special and somebody had to play in the rhythm section. That’s not what he is, though. He’s a skater in his thirties with a robust mustache and a lot of things to say. A few years ago, Rolling Stone, yes that Rolling Stone, profiled him, calling him “Skateboarding’s Psychedelic Warrior.” In short, he’s an eccentric dude in a world of eccentric folks. That means when he sits down for a conversation, you never know what you’re going to get.

Titus Skates got a chance to talk to Jackson for their series The G Files. Not every skater is necessarily interesting to hear interviewed. Sorry, but it’s true. Jackson definitely doesn’t fall into that camp. This conversation is only four minutes long, but we could have taken a lot more of it. Still, it’s a chance to hear Jackson talk about his history of vert skating, not to mention some other stuff. Of course, it’s not the kind of conversation most skaters give on those topics. Spend some trippy time with Jackson by watching the video right here.
