The newest, the latest: Adidas Campus 00s

The Ostensibly Inspired sneaker

The adidas Campus, one from the plethora of trainers created by Kanye West's fave brand has been a staple piece in the skateboarding ecosystem. Now, adidas has announced that the three stripes’ originals will be recreated by taking inspiration from the puffed-up 2000s skate shoe.

Key was exploring different proportions adopting an exaggerated tongue and wider midfoot construction. With a ‘bark’ shaded suede across the entirety of its upper and tongue, it’s clear to see that it’s called on its 80s heritage for this addition.

Details have really been demonstrated with a lighter hue over the laces and sock liner. A notable change from the “Cloud White” due to the contrasts directed towards more retro-inspired schemes. Further additions include the likes of an “Off-white” midsole. Perched above the chocolate brown rubber tread that is taken straight from the brand's Campus heritage.

This tiny but major additional detail is what keeps this iconic shoe so timeless. Available in Canada, but we are all waiting for the release date for other cities and countries. Check them out here.
