You Can Now Ride Your Skateboard Through McDonald’s Drive-Thrus in the Philippines

Grab your board and a Big Mac!

Since today is American Thanksgiving, maybe we have food on the brain. Or maybe we just thought this was a cool story. When you were a kid, did you ever try and go through a drive-thru without a car? You know, maybe you weren’t old enough to drive yet and you were jonesing for a burger or some fries and only the drive-thru was open? It didn’t go well. Drive-thrus usually won’t serve you if you aren’t in a car, and they don’t tend to find the concept very amusing. Well in the Philippines, McDonald’s has decided that you no longer need a car to grab food on the go.

McDonald’s would like to introduce you to the ride-thru. Now, you can take any wheeled vehicle through the ride-thru and grab a Big Mac or some Chicken McNuggets. They don’t have turkey for Thanksgiving, but maybe that’s for the best. Plus, it’s not Thanksgiving in the Philippines. You can take a bike, a scooter, or a skateboard through and get your meal. Imagine pulling up on your board and ordering your Mickey D’s and then riding down the street chowing down on your burger. Want to take a look at how the ride-thru works? Well you are in luck!
