We’re Finally Getting an Official Look at Nike SB’s “Strawberry Cough”

You can be forgiven if you thought we’d never see the Nike SB Dunk High “Strawberry Cough” become a reality. Hell, at this point you can be forgiven if you forgot all about them. The design was teased in 2020, but then they basically disappeared. Now, though, we have finally gotten some official images from Nike for the colorway (shown above), which means they are still planning to drop them, perhaps sometime soon. On the one hand, the shoes look amazing. The red-and-green colorway pops and the fuzziness used on the green parts of the shoe are a nice touch. The little strawberry logo is even fun. 

However, these are marijuana-themed shoes. That little strawberry? He’s coughing, presumably because he just took a big hit off a joint or something. This means they aren’t going to be for everybody. Even if you are a marijuana user, you might not be into the whole “stoner” vibe and not want to wear shoes that just scream “420” to those in the know. These are beautiful shoes, but they might be beautiful shoes only suited to vocal marijuana enthusiasts. Hey, they deserve nice kicks too.
