Watch the World Skateboarding Tour Park Finals Replay

The San Juan event has Olympic implications!

Skateboarding got a major boost, at least in the athletic realm, when it debuted at the Tokyo Olympics. Admittedly, it took an extra year thanks to the damn COVID-19 pandemic, but when it happened, it was all in all a success. The next Summer Olympics are in Paris in 2024, and skaters are already in the process of qualifying. The World Skateboarding Tour plays a part in that.

Over this past week, the WST was in San Juan, Argentina, with the park finals happening May 28. A whopping 179 skaters took part in hopes of garnering as many ranking points as possible in an attempt to qualify for the Olympics. The whole event aired live on YouTube, but the replay is available to watch. It’s two hours of park skating, and if you are into skating as a sport (and not everybody is, we know) it’s worth checking out. Enjoy!
