Watch the Trailer for Skating Documentary Rom Boys

It’s a great look into an iconic British spot

If you are a skater based in the United Kingdom, you have assuredly heard of the Rom Town Skatepark. It’s been part of the scene for 40 years at this point, and thousands of skaters have paid a visit to get their skate on at the iconic location. A spot like that, one so revered in the local community, is deserving of a documentary. Well one is coming soon: Rom Boys, directed by Matt Harris.

This has been a long time coming for Harris. The dude has been working on Rom Boys for 15 years, through good and bad. Unfortunately, recently there’s been more of the latter than ever before. Though Rom Town is the only skatepark in the world listed as a heritage spot, it is currently in danger of closing. While the documentary has already been screened, it’s going to be released for the general public next week. For now, check out the Rom Boys trailer to get a sense of what you’re in for. Of course, British skaters will likely already be well-versed in everything Rom Town.
