Watch the Los Angeles Times’ Short Doc on Jeff Grosso

The late skateboarding figure gets a sendoff he deserves
CHRIS MORGAN  |

A year ago, skateboarding lost Jeff Grosso. The 51-year-old had spent decades in the world of skateboarding, often serving as a content creator, interviewer, historian, and more. You may remember the Loveletters to Skateboarding video series he made for many years, racking up dozens of episodes. Grosso’s impact on skating was strong enough that no less a publication than the Los Angeles Times decided to put together a short documentary about Grosso. While Grosso wasn’t necessarily known foremost as a skater, you can see him in action on his board in the video, but the doc also features plenty of interviews. Grosso and Tony Hawk were close, so Hawk appears, and also used his sway in the world of skateboarding to help get the documentary produced. Check out the LA Times’ doc above. R.I.P. to a legend.
