Watch the Extended Cut of the X Games’ Profile of Ryan Sheckler

They go deep with the legendary skater

Ryan Sheckler has been famous for years, even though he’s only 30 and has plenty of skating left ahead of him. He’s been a fixture at the X Games since he was a teenager, and had his own reality show for MTV called Life of Ryan. If you’re old enough, you’ve watched Sheckler grow up and become an elder statesman and leader in the skateboarding community, such as it is. This makes him a perfect person for the X Games to profile, which they did this summer.

This should have been the big 25th anniversary of the X Games, though the event had to change quite a bit in 2020 due to the pandemic. We still got content from the folks over at World of X Games, including their Being series of videos. Of course, if you want to put something on TV, you have to trim it down and lose a lot of cool stuff. The original profile of Sheckler was a mere eight minutes. Now, the X Games people have dropped an extended cut on us. If eight minutes of Sheckler wasn’t enough, how about 26 minutes? You’ll get a lot more clips of Sheckler in action, plus interview segments. If you were hoping to see more Sheckler, now you can thanks to this video.
