WATCH SOME SKATERS ON THE SWISS HILLS

In The Sound of Music, the hills were alive with, well, the sounds of music. It turns out the hills of Switzerland are alive with the sounds of skateboarders. We know which one we prefer. Free magazine recently debuted a video straight from Lugano, Switzerland featuring some steep inclines and some brave skaters.

Among the folks taking on the Swiss hills in Prealps are Schianta Lepori, Lukas Bigun, Gian Matteuzzi, and Martino Cattaneo. You have to be brave on a board to take on hills like these. When you get going with some speed and something goes wrong, well, you can see what happens in this video. It’s not quite as dangerous as skating the alps, but with all that snow up there that would be tricky anyway. You may not get to skate hills like this all that often, but you can live vicariously through the Prealps skating stars. Get yourself nice and level and enjoy.
