Vans Releases Video for Their South African Skate Team
South Africa has a burgeoning skateboarding scene, and Vans has itself a team down in South Africa. Three members of that team, Ethan Cairns, Alex Williams, and Devandre Galant, are at the center of this new video from Vans entitled Briberies. It’s 13 minutes of skating action, but the blood, sweat, and tears that went into it is incalculable in terms of time.
The skate scene in South Africa may be on the rise, but it is far from a finished product. Also, life in Cape Town isn’t always easy. The description for Briberies, and the video itself, makes no bones about how difficult it was to put the video together. They had to shoot off and on for three years to get 13 minutes of footage from this trio. It was a true labor, but hopefully it was worth it. Cairns, Williams, and Galant left it all out there.
