Vague Debuts a Very British Skate Video

From the skaters to the filmer, it’s an English adventure

Cheerio! We’re in a British mood today, and it’s not because we want to eat bangers and mash or watch an old episode of Fawlty Towers. No, it’s thanks to the latest video dropped by the U.K. skate magazine Vague. They have a new video from the joyfully-named Orwellian World Landscape, which was filmed by Al Hodgson. It’s a very British affair, so much so you might suddenly find one of the Queen’s corgis in your house.

The video, entitled Pavilion, was shot in the seaside resort town of Brighton and Hove. A bevy of skaters make appearances, including Henry Bailey, Dougie George, and Jimmy Silver. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, not that there are any icebergs near Brighton and Hove. The weather there is usually pretty nice. Well, nice for England. Pay a trip to the Pavilion in what some have called Britain’s happiest city above. Maybe it will cheer you up too. Arrivederci! Wait, wrong language.
