TOM KARANGELOV ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD WITH AMERICAN PSYCHO RIFF

It was only recently that Tom Karangelov announced that he was joining the WKND crew. Already, he has a debut board in the works, and there is already a promo out for it as well. Apparently Karangelov is a bit of a film fanatic, and that plays into his promotional spot, which is a spoof of the Christian Bale film American Psycho.

If you are not familiar with American Psycho, well, it’s hard to explain, other than to say it’s incredibly gory and messed up. The first is something of a satire of ‘80s Wall Street dudes, but that doesn’t always come through amid the unspeakable acts of violence (and sexual depravity). One thing is for sure, and that’s the fact it makes quite the impact on viewers. American Psycho has also been parodied and spoofed quite a bit, including once by Huey Lewis and “Weird Al” Yankovic. Now Karangelov and the WKND team have joined in on the spoof fun with their new spot. Whether or not you’ve seen the source material, you can check out this ad above.
