The New Balance Numeric Team Face The Ruthless Calçada in Portugal
New Balance Numerics team recently released their new video ‘Calçada’ featuring riders skateboarding through the streets of Portugal.
The name Calçada is used to describe the mosaic style pavements that is made from flat pieces of stone. The rocky pavements have often been deemed too difficult for skateboarders but the NB numerics team have proved otherwise.
The clips pieced together showed the team visited the iconic cities of Lisbon, Almada, and Porto in Autumn. The short film was produced and edited by Josh Hallett, and the feature was premiered on Free Skate Mag. The edit featured Tom Knox, Jorge Simões, Tyler Surrey, Nisse Ingemarsson, Charlie Birch, Calvin Ligono and Dave Mackey.
