THE LOCAL SKATESHOP PUTS TOGETHER A FUN VIDEO WITH SOME LOCALS

They are keeping safe but still having fun

While Canada didn’t get hit as hard as some other places with COVID, basically no area of the world has been untouched by the pandemic. Personally, we haven’t looked into how Antarctica is doing. The Local, a skateshop in Ontario, has had a tricky year like many companies and storefronts. Fortunately, they are keeping their morale high and haven’t given up on skating. In fact, they even put a video together recently.

The Local’s video was shot keeping all COVID guidelines in the province in mind. There’s no point to making a video if you aren’t being careful. That’s not cool in 2020. The Local’s video highlights Shaun Shimada and Bailey Seager in the title, but they aren’t the only two skaters in the video. We also get to see Drew McVicar, John Navarolli, and a few other Canadian skaters. Canadians have a reputation for being polite, which may be why they were able to make a skate video so safely. Best of luck to The Local in 2021! Check out their video above.
