The Carhartt WIP Team Take On an Art Institution’s Skate Space

This is a slightly different video than a lot of the stuff we post, which is cool and exciting. Skateboarding can be an art, but it’s never been more of an art than in this video. Carhartt WIP has made some interesting videos recently, though a little bit less in 2020 because, you know, the world. They have a real artsy style, and that’s definitely on display in this spot done in conjunction with Galleria Continua.

If you aren’t familiar with Galleria Continua, it’s an art institution housed in the former home of a cinema in Boissy-le-Châlet in France. Clearly, they aren’t your average art institution, though. Most art galleries don’t want you touching anything. Galleria Continua, on the other hand, recently installed an experimental snake run skate space. Seriously. How cool is that? The Carhartt WIP team hit up the spot over a few days to give several different riders a chance to give the run a go. The results are fascinating and may be the first time we’ve ever had a video shot at an art gallery. We know you want to check this one out, and you can do it above.
