SOLO Presents: Visiting Willows World
Join us as we tune in to see through the eyes of Willow and discover what he's been up to since moving on from skateboarding and living a 9-5 life outside of the active skate community. Here we get an insight into the life of Willow and see that is now Willow’s everyday life, now it doesn’t consist of a daily fight with his favorite Kulturforum double set.
Based not far from Cologne, in a little city called Erftstadt. Willow lives here with his family and still keeps a mini ramp in the garden, which he skates with his son and friends that go to visit on the weekends, but the thought of going back to street skating and taking on his favorite double set makes him feel just how heavy the weight on his shoulders is for sustaining life through a full-time job and making sure your fit for work every day.
Willow says that he has a newfound respect for people who are living this lifestyle because he says it's not the way to live. While admitting that he misses skateboarding and especially with friends, he explains the struggles he faces to find the time to enjoy even the small things in life, including his unique and impressive art, which he likes to try and focus on over the weekend.
