Skate Tales Concludes With a Trip to Osaka

Have you been watching Red Bull’s Skate Tales? The six-part video series was a look into the outsider elements of skateboarding’s global underground, with eccentric skater Madars Apse as our guide through these communities and landscapes. Where is the series ending? Why, as Triangle Park in Osaka, Japan, of course. After all, where else would Apse run into the legendary skate collective The Osaka Daggers.

If you aren’t familiar with The Osaka Daggers, well, you’re in for a wild ride. This video will give you some sense of what Chopper and the rest of the Daggers crew are all about. There have a fair amount of notoriety around the world, at least among skaters who are plugged in. Skate Tales has been a cool series that we’ve promoted a couple times, and we feel like we had to plug the concluding chapter as well. After all, it’s Apse and The Osaka Daggers at the legendary Triangle Park. What’s not to be interested in? Even if you know plenty about the Daggers already, check out the video anyway.
