Santa Cruz Drops Some Bloopers from Recent Anniversary Bash Video
Hopefully the balloons broke their falls!
Recently, we highlighted the collaboration between Santa Cruz and Red Bull Skateboarding. It was in celebration of Santa Cruz Skateboards’ 50th anniversary as a company. A skatepark was turned into party central, and the video turned out quite fun. That being said, getting there wasn’t necessarily a smooth ride.
Back in the day, we used to get bloopers at the end of movies. While sometimes we get raw footage skate videos, we rarely get straight-up bloopers for skate parts. Santa Cruz, though, has jumped into that realm with their new short. It’d called “Balloopers” because it’s a brief blooper reel, and balloons are involved. It turns out that, while balloons help you celebrate, they don’t make it easy to skate necessarily.
