Reebok Turns the Club C into a Skate Shoe

It’s a new take on an old silhouette

Reebok is no longer owned by adidas, and the brand is reestablishing itself now that is isn’t part of that conglomerate. One thing it has decided to do is to dip a toe into the skate shoe realm. Instead of creating a new skate shoe, Reebok has taken one of their classic silhouettes and given it a skate shoe makeover.

The Club C has been turned into the CLUB C BULC. Previously, the Club C was a collaboration with Japanese brand BEAMS, but this is an in-company revamp. The colorways are simple, with a white-and-gum and a black-and-gum option on the way. Basically, they’ve bulked up the Club C for durability and reinforced the toe cap, the midsole, and the outsole, with rubber. These are simplistic skate shoes, but if you like simple design, maybe Reebok is speaking to you. The CLUB C BULC will hit stores July 8 with a price tag of $100 USD. Check them out for yourself.
