Red Bull Takes Us into Richmond Virginia’s Skate Scene
It’s a DIY scene on the rise
Richmond is the capital of Virginia. Also, as Red Bull Skateboarding shows us in the latest episode of Greetings, it’s a hub for a great local skate scene. You don’t hear as much about Richmond as other cities around the globe, or even the United States, but this video is a cool look into dedicated skaters who are doing things for themselves.
The Richmond scene is heavy on the DIY. It’s not built around elaborate skate parks as much it is local spots and self-built parks. We’re talking tennis courts and spots like the Midlo Ditch.
