Pico SB and Mental Swagger Join Forces to “Make Moves in Silence”

Pico SB is not a prolific releaser of skate videos, but the effort that goes into creating even a minute-long clip is evident. For “Make Moves in Silence,” Pico SB collaborated with Mental Swagger, a clothing company. Pico SB is a purveyor of “slow motion” skating videos, and there is definitely an artful quality to the work.

In addition to the black-and-white look of it all, “Make Moves in Silence” has a dedication to framing and cinematography not found in every skate spot, even the good ones. There is also effort made to shoot some tricks up close and in slow motion. It makes skateboarding feel artier than usual. Maybe that’s why Pico SB’s releases are so infrequent.
