Off-White and Daily Paper Want to Bring a Skatepark to Ghana

And you can help by buying some apparel

Looking to support a cool cause this January? Apparel brands Off-White and Daily Paper have a way you can do that. The two companies have joined forces with Surf Ghana, as organization with a goal to build the first-ever skatepark in the country of Ghana. Their goal is to begin production on the Freedom Skate Park in Accra in 2021, with the hopes of finishing it in 2022.

There are precious few skateparks in all of Africa, so getting a park would be huge for Ghana. As for Off-White and Daily Paper, the labels have collaborated on a capsule long-sleeve shirt, a t-shirt, and a bucket hat all emblazoned with “Freedom and Skate.” They are a little pricey, but do remember this is a fundraising effort. You can get more information on the capsule, and where to buy the items, on Daily Paper’s Instagram.
