Oakley is in the Skateboarding Space

Oakley, the famed sunglasses brand, promotes itself around being the “sunglasses for athletes” these days. Apparently they are in the world of skateboarding as well. Yes, there is an Oakley Skateboarding team, and Oakley just dropped a skate part. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first for them (and they certainly don’t do it often).

Yes, the video involves skaters putting on Oakley sunglasses, but the names are notable. They are only introduced by their first names: Louie, Nora, and Ishod. There’s just a bit of skating in the video, but it is ended with a “To be continued…” so expect more skateboarding content from Oakley and the team.
