NYJAH X NIKE SB PAYING HOMAGE TO LEBRON JAMES ON LATEST SNEAKER

We’ll be honest, when we were looking at what was going on in the shoe world and we saw the photos of the shoe in question here, we thought to ourselves, “Oh, LeBron James has a new shoe. That’s cool.” Ah, but that turned out to be deceptive. Maybe LeBron has some new Nike sneakers coming out. We wouldn’t be surprised given that he’s arguably the greatest basketball player of all-time and is starring in the new Space Jam sequel. However, these aren’t LeBron shoes. They are Nyjah Huston shoes that are paying homage to King James.

Specifically, these are a new colorway of the Nike SB Nyjah Free 2. There have been collabs between the NBA and Nike SB before, but never for an individual player. That’s the case with the Free 2 colorway, because it’s all about LeBron. The shoes are primarily white, a color worn by the Lakers. Ah, but the purple swoosh really pops, and there’s hints of Lakers gold that really stand out as well. LeBron’s number 23 is stitched onto the shoe, and of course there is some Huston iconography as well. Currently you can find the LeBron James colorway of the Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 in the 1991 Skateshop, with more retailers to come.
