Nike SB And Strangelove Skateboards Valentines Drop Ruined By Bots

The bots only needed two minutes to ruin the drop

Strangelove Skateboarding took to Instagram on February 1st  to announce that their Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration will not be released online as planned. This due to certain customers getting a hold of the product page before the actual drop, leading to a cascade of cop bots attacking. The bots only needed two minutes to ruin the release that was originally meant for Nike SBs most loyal and supportive customers.

The hype for this Valentine’s day drop was understandably big. The Low Dunks, mainly designed by Sean Cliver, feature an upper base dressed in white crushed velvet with overlays in pink suede and a red crushed velvet swoosh. The base color continues along the tongue which also features a ‘University red’ swoosh. The shoes are finished off with a red skull, often found in Clivers art, combined with a heart on the heel and NIKE in white on the heel. And to finish it all off he shoes come in a pink shoe-box featuring a skull design inside of a heart and also includes a few artworks.

Luckily the shoes will still be released. At a price of $100 Strangelove urges everyone to buy from their local skate-stores but you will also be able to cop a pair on The Canteen on February 7th and on the Nike SNKRS app on February 8th.
