Nike SB has a New Colorway for the Zoom Blazer Mid

Has a brown shoe ever looked this good?

The Zoom Blazer Mid has been a part of the Nike SB lineup for quite some time, and it’s a solid skate shoe as a base. Now, there is a new colorway coming out that has us feeling pretty hyped. The premium colorway is called the “Baroque Brown,” which apparently is inspired by the glory of nature in the Pacific Northwest.

Now, when you think the Pacific Northwest, you think trees, but there isn’t any greed in the Baroque Brown colorway. There is plenty of brown, though. Brown is the preeminent color of the shoe, and most if it comes in a pebbled leather style that makes it look like you are wearing footballs on your feet. However, that brown is offset by some real pops of color. There are striking purple accents, bright blue shoelaces and backing, and a tongue that brings a splash of neon pink. It’s like if you dropped cotton candy on a football, which apparently looks awesome on a shoe. The brown works better than we ever would have expected thanks to those accenting colors, and the texture definitely plays as well. Nike SB’s Zoom Blazer Mid Baroque Brown colorway is being released on November 9 on the Nike website. They are retailing at $130, and we get the feeling they might sell out quickly.
