NIKE SB AND MEDICOM TOY COLLABORATE ON NEW SHOE

This is no shaggy-dog story, but it is a shaggy-shoe story

A shoe collaboration between Nike Skateboarding and a Japanese toy company? You’d better believe it’s happening. In fact, it’s not even the first time. Nike SB and Medicom Toy have collaborated going all the way back to 2004. This has been a busy year for collabs for Nike SB, which isn’t surprising. They are the behemoths of the shoe game. Now, they are bringing in 2020 for a landing with a collaboration with Medicom on a new SB Blazer Low.

Technically the shoe is sail colored with a while insole, plus a little black here and there. It has Nike and Medicom labels on the shoe as well. However, this all buries the lead. These are shaggy, hairy shoes. That sail-colored upper is made from pony hair. Even the Nike swoosh is shaggy. You know those monsters that live on Hoth in Star Wars? These shoes look like they could be made from their fur. Hairy shoes aren’t for everybody, but if they are up your alley these are an impressive collaboration. There is no release date yet, but the rumors are these SB Blazer Lows will be out December 26. Perfect timing for spending your Christmas money. Here’s a look at the shoe for the time being.
