Mark Gonzales Unveils His Latest Collaboration with Adidas Skateboarding

Back in February, Mark Gonzales collaborated with adidas Skateboarding on a “Halsil/White” colorway for the Aloha Super. Now, Gonzales seems to be in a “spooky season” mood. His new adidas Skateboarding x Superstar ADV design sees the skateboarder and artiste going dark. Not like those Vans horror shoes we wrote about. No, these Superstar ADVs are basically all black. These effectively ebony shoes also lack adidas’ iconic Trefoil design on the sides, which is something you rarely see. Instead, we get Gonzales’ “Schmoo bird” design dappling the shoe. The birds are mostly black but outlined in neon colors for the slightest hint of a pop of brightness in all the darkness. These shoes, which you can check out right here, are going to be available starting October 9 with a retail price of $100USD.
