Japan is, arguably, the epicenter of skateboarding right now. Hey, the Tokyo Olympics was a showcase for the country’s incredible skating talent, and we recently shared a video of some skaters in Osaka doing their thing. It must be in the air, as Luis Mora, who is plugged into Japan’s skate scene, spent a day in the life of Tokyo’s skateboarding landscape.
Mora spent time with brothers Takuya and Yuta Ishizuka. Then, he went to skate with Tokyo local Kyonosuke Yamashita to skate at his favorite spot in the city. It’s a first-hand look at skateboarding in Tokyo, a great place for people who love skating.
