Gardner joined the team in 2005, when he was just 15 years old, and quickly rose to fame with his innovative and creative style, blending street and transition skating with a flair for the unexpected. He has been a staple of DC's videos, tours and campaigns ever since, inspiring countless skaters around the world with his passion and originality.

Gardner has not revealed his reasons for leaving DC on his Insta post, nor his plans for the future, but we wish him all the best in his next endeavors. Thank you, John, for everything you have done for skateboarding and for DC.
