JERRY HSU IS GETTING INTO HARDGOODS
Jerry Hsu is a fine skater, but he’s an even better artist. His design work is impressive, so much so that he has his own small-batch brand he calls Sci-Fi Fantasy. That should give you a sense of the kind of style he brings to his artwork, and we have posted about some of his work in the past. There’s been some Sci-Fi Fantasy apparel out there in the past, but Hsu is getting even deeper into the world of skating. Namely, Hsu and Sci-Fi Fantasy are now offering hardgoods.
Specifically, Hsu has designed two decks, which were unveiled in a post on the Sci-Fi Fantasy Instagram. They aren’t super sci-fi, but they are cool. One of them is a simple design that’s a yellow X on a black background. The other design is more complex, and features a lush landscape with a futuristic motorcycle in the foreground. They are definitely different styles of design, which means whether you like to keep your decks simple or like them to really pop with color, Hsu has something for you. Hopefully this isn’t the end of Sci-Fi Fantasy’s run in the hardgoods game.
