JEANNE DUVAL TRAVELS FRANCE, AND SKATES IN NEW SHORT FILM

21 is the name of an album from Adele. At least we think it is. We’re not really going to bother to look it up. We just know her from that one James Bond theme song. What we do know for sure, though, is that 21 is also the name of a new short film by Claudia Lederer that Vans dropped just before this past weekend.

The film, which is in black-and-white, features skateboarder Jeanne Duval. We follow her as she visits French cities such as Nantes, Biarritz, and of course Paris with her board in tow. While it might feel like a stretch to call some skateboarding videos “short films,” we have no qualms dropping that on 21. Lederer’s film is quite striking to look at, even if you aren’t a skateboarding fan. And if you are a skateboarding fan, well, we don’t have to twist your arm we’re sure. Watch 21 right here.
