Eugene Choi Shows His Stuff (and His Dog) For Vans

The Korean skater is one to keep an eye on

Vans has skaters all over the world. In fact, they have a team based in South Korea. One of the members of the Vans squad out there is Eugene Choi. The 19-year-old skater is clearly on the rise, given that he’s already on Vans’ team as a teenager. He’s also got a new part out for Vans, and it’s pretty steeped in the personality, and skill, of Choi.

The video is called Soncarina, which is a portmanteau of the Korean word for hand and also the word ocarina, an instrument any Legend of Zelda fans should be aware of. Choi is apparently a fan of playing the hand flute himself. He’s also a fan of his dog, who makes an appearance in the part to boot. Oh, and there’s plenty of skating as well. There’s plenty of cool spots to hit up in Korea, and Choi knows that even though he’s only 19. This isn’t the last we’ll be seeing of Choi. It may be the last time we see a hand flute in a skate video, though. Check Soncarina out now.
