DEATHWISH CREATES INSTAGRAM MIX OF THEIR SKATERS

Social distancing doesn’t mean the content stops.

Calling your skateboarding company Deathwish is all well and good until a global pandemic breaks out. This has been an awkward time for skaters, and also skating companies. You can’t make new videos when people can’t gather together. If a skater is taking social distancing seriously, they aren’t exactly getting their crew rounded up for content purposes. However, there was a workaround, and Deathwish made it happen.

Making lemons out of lemonade, Deathwish has combed through their skaters’ Instagrams for videos of them skating. While practicing social distancing, of course. With a phone, a skater can be a one-man video production team. Several Deathwish skaters have been making videos since January before social distancing was really in place in a lot of areas, and the crew at Deathwish has taken some of the best highlights and turned them into one remix video. Sure, if you watch the mix above you’ll see a lot of vertical videos, but something you can’t be picky.
