Crailtap Gives Us a Slide of Carl Aikens’ Life

Carl Aikens joined Chocolate Skateboards early in 2020. Then, well, the world changed and skateboarding changed. This is especially true for a skater who spends so much time in New York City. What’s a skater to do in a time like this? Well, luckily for us, Crailtap decided to dedicate an episode of its Slice of Life series to Aikens, giving us a glimpse at how he’s spending his time and keeping his skills sharp.

Obviously, Aikens has had to make adjustments to his usual routine, but that hasn’t kept him off his board entirely. In fact, the Chocolate skater shows us several skate spots in the video, including one that is new as of the pandemic. All in all, in spite of everything Aikens, seems fairly positive about his first year on the Chocolate brand. We hope 2021 is better for him (and all of us), but for now, Crailtap served up a sliver of Aikens’ life for you to watch above.
