CHPO x Skateistan Design 100% Recycled Shades

Swedish brand CHPO, who specialise in sunglasses and watches, have collabed once again with non-profit organisation Skateistan. This time around the two have created a pair of mint green shades named “Mustafa”, crafted out of 100% recycled plastic, with 100% of the proceeds going straight to Skateistan’s Skate Schools in South Africa, Afghanistan and Cambodia. 

Skateistan’s programmes are not only based around skateboarding, but also education and engagement within the community, encouraging kids to recognise and acknowledge their potential and creativity. The award-winning organisation currently has over 2,000 active students, with 50% of them girls, and are open to children aged between 5 and 17 from all kinds of backgrounds and heritages, for free! 

Since CHPO began to collab with the organisation, they have been able to donate over $51,000 (!!!!), supporting at-risk kids and fuelling the thrill and excitement behind skating.
