Right now, a lot of people are probably longing for the past. The world is chaotic and it would be nice to, you know, not be under the thumb of a lingering pandemic. Fortunately, we can get a little bit of classic skating action thanks to the world of the internet. There’s a dude named Beagle who has been shooting skating videos for decades, and he has his own YouTube channel. In the latest episode of his “Beagle Tapes” series, he’s throwing out some classic Baker action for us.
Do you remember 2001? We bet some of you don’t, which is a whole different kind of frustration. For many, that was the heyday of their skating fandom. Beagle dropped a half-hour of tour tape from Baker that harkens back to 2001. That’s right, it’s skating action from almost 20 years ago. Guys like Jeff Lenoce, Ryan Thomas, and Alex Gall are all there. Remember a time when COVID was just a bunch of random letters by watching this video.
