CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR USA SKATEBOARDING DOCUMENTARY

This summer we were supposed to see skateboarding history in action. We were supposed to be enjoying the Summer Olympics from Tokyo, which was to feature the debut of skateboarding as an official sport. You know, with medals and everything. Then, the pandemic happened. This led to the 2020 Summer Olympics being moved to 2021. We mean that literally, as they are still calling it the 2020 Olympics. Too much money had been spent on branding.

That means we need to wait a year for our first look at the U.S.A. Skateboarding team in action. Fret not, though. The team gets another year to practice, and the lead up to the Olympics is being covered in a documentary. In fact, the trailer for the documentary is already out. The doc is called Road to Gold, which may turn out to be prophetic. Since we have readers all over the world at Dose, we won’t play favorites. We’ll just say that the documentary is debuting in the fall, and it will feature the likes of Mariah Duran, Heimana Reynolds, Bryce Wettstein, and arguable headliner Nyjah Huston.
