CHECK OUT THE FULL REAL STREET BROADCAST FROM X GAMES 2020
This was a weird year for the X Games. Granted, it’s been a weird year for sports in general. Even the sports leagues that have come back, like Bundesliga, aren’t back to normal yet. We may not see “normal” sports until 2021. With their backs against the wall, the sports minds of the world are getting creative, and ESPN’s X Games were no different. For their Real Street competition this year, six skaters were paired with six videographers to create one-minute highlight videos to name the best street skater of the year. There was a fan vote and of course traditional judging as well. Winners have been announced, but if you haven’t been spoiled yet, or even if you have, you can watch the whole thing now.
ESPN has put the full broadcast up for people to watch if they missed it, or if they want to watch it again. It’s not just the six videos of the skaters, but also a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff and everything else that made up the 47 minutes of the broadcast. The skaters who participated were Kevin Baekkel, Clive Dixon, Jamie Foy, Dakota Servold, Franky Villani, and Chase Webb. How’d they all do? Watch and find out!
