CHECK OUT RED BULL'S REMIX OF THEIR TRIP TO SOUTH AMERICA

Not all that long ago, Red Bull sent some of its top skaters on a trip through South America as part of their Skate Escapes series. The video, shot in Bolivia and Peru, asserts that the skaters are on the Inca Trail, though that is creative license. You aren’t skating on the actual Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but if you get a chance to walk it that makes for quite the experience. It will probably still be a while before sending people across South America for skating videos is a safe and sensible thing, so luckily for us Red Bull has given us a Skate Escapes remix.

This remix boils things down to about six minutes of highlights, but this all-killer, no-filler edit is still a ton of fun. Watch folks like Madars Apse and Milton Martinez floating through the high elevation of Peru. The air is thinner up there, you know. For all we know that mean you can soar forever off a ramp. We haven’t checked the science on that yet. Maybe watch the video will help.
