Check Out Bombaklats’ Latest Missive From The Netherlands

Are you familiar with the Dutch video-making crew Bombaklats? If you’ve watching skateboarding videos out of the Netherlands you may have caught their work. Apparently Pop Trading Company is a fan at the very least because they released the latest video from Bombaklats members Sami El Hassani. We may not have Tulip Fever, but we definitely have Bombaklats Fever.

The video is called 4:3/Bats & Mats, which is admittedly not the catchiest title. Don’t worry, the action that El Hassani caught more than makes up for it. The video was shot entirely in the Dutch city of Haarlem (no globetrotting here) featuring tons of Dutch skaters, both native and transplant. It’s a little artier than a lot of skate videos, including the black and white, but it all works quite well. We just wish we could see somebody grinding one of those Dutch dikes we’ve heard so much about in stories from the days of yore. Ah well. This more than suffices.
