CHECK OUT 25 YEARS OF SKATING HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE X GAMES

The X Games are 25 now. That means it can rent a car in the United States. Way back in 1995, it was called the Extreme Games and the world was very different. Basically nobody was on the internet, and for many people their introduction to skating came in the ‘90s thanks to the X Games. It wasn’t all skateboard, sure. They had BMX bikes, motocross, and that weird street luge thing that they gave up on after a while. Call us biased, but we mostly remember skating. Fortunately, ESPN is there for us.

The X Games and ESPN have been hand in hand since the beginning, and they’ve provided us with 25 years of highlights from skateboarding events at the X Games. We’re talking some living legends. All the different kinds of events are covered. We’re talking street, vert, and big air. The famous faces include the likes of Ryan Sheckler, Nyjah Huston, and Leticia Bufoni.
