Carlos Ribeiro Skates a Go-Kart Track

It’s the wrong kind of transportation but it works
CHRIS MORGAN  |

When was the last time you went go-kart racing? Maybe it was when you were a kid, maybe it was as an adult as part of some work party, who knows. It can be pretty fun, though, although sometimes it feel like you’re always on the verge of crashing and burning. That’s something skaters can relate to, probably. However, can you relate to Carlo Ribeiro taking his skateboard to a go-kart track for a bit of mixed-transportation media?

The Brazilian skater went to K1 Racing in Torrance, California for a video from Andale. Honestly, just watching a skater trying their hand at go-kart racing would probably be a bit of fun, but it’s even better to watch Ribeiro turn K1 into a de facto street course. The ramps were brought along for the sake of the video. The eminently grindable barriers, though? That’s the beauty of a go-kart track. Does Ribeiro jump somebody racing on the track? We don’t want to spoil it, but let’s just say if that intrigues you, you should definitely watch this video.
