Brooklyn Banks: NYC Shreds Again!
It's finally happening! After what felt like an eternity of waiting, the Brooklyn Banks in New York City is making a comeback, and we couldn't be more stoked!
A day to remember as the Mayor of NYC and a bunch of legendary skateboarders took over the famous 9-stair, kickstarting the reopening of this iconic spot. Not to mention, NYC legend Leo Heinert and Vans team rider Kyle Walker were tearing it up too. Huge shoutout to Steve Rodriguez and the Skatepark Project crew for making this dream a reality.
Our favorite rock 'n' roll enthusiast, tennis player, and bartender extraordinaire, Marc Razo, captured some sick shots of the day. It was pure magic. Spring is in the air, and NYC skaters can now add the historic Banks to their list of must-hit spots while cruising around the city. Get ready for a sizzling hot summer of shredding!
