Brixton Gives Us a Look Into the Life of Riley Hawk
Riley Hawk is 27 now, which makes some of us feel incredibly old. We remember when his dad was nailing that 900 and Riley was just a little kid hanging around. To a degree, he’s followed in his father’s footsteps. Hawk has been a professional skater since 2013, and he is on the Brixton team currently. You can also see him in the updated version of his father’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game. Riley is also showcased in a new video for Brixton, though it focuses on his life outside of skating.
There’s more to Riley than riding a board, regardless of who his father is. By day, he’s the owner of Steel Mill, a coffee shop in Oceanside, California. Yes, Riley Hawk is a coffee shop owner, and naturally, the space also has live performances and a record store. You wouldn’t expect a boring coffee shop from Riley Hawk, right? Brixton delves into Hawk’s career in the coffee space, and what goes into making quality coffee. The dedication he showed on a board growing up is now being pointed toward the coffee business. Skating is cool, but it’s always good to have other interests. See how Hawk spends his time outside skating above.
