Is This Berlin’s Best Skatepark? Marzahn-Hellersdorf Review

New DOSE video—Berlin’s freshest skatepark session!
DOSE CREW  |

New skatepark alert! Berlin just got a fresh spot to skate, and we had to check it out. The new Bike- & Skatepark Marzahn-Hellersdorf, located at Beerenpfuhlgraben (Alt-Hellersdorf 29, 12629 Berlin), officially opened on December 16, 2024. Built by Betonlandschaften with input from the local skate community, this place was designed to cater to all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros.

First Impressions

Yeah, it’s a bit far out—what we’d call here in Germany am Arsch der Heide—but for a fresh park with solid obstacles, we’ll make the trip. The setup is modern, smooth, and well-thought-out, making it an instant hotspot for Berlin’s skate scene.

The Spot: What’s Inside?

The layout features:

  • Bowl section – One for beginners and another for advanced riders, designed with input from Germany’s Bundestrainer Skateboard.

  • Snake run – A flowing, open-ended bowl that’s fully accessible and fun to cruise.

  • Street section – A 900 m² area packed with ledges, rails, and elements inspired by real street spots.

  • Bonus features – The park is part of a larger sports area, including a climbing rock and graffiti wall, adding to the urban vibe.

Session Recap

Our crew—Gino, Isidor, Jonathan, Wesley, Konrad, plus local homies Deo, Jonte, and more—pulled up for a Sunday session. Three hours of skating, good vibes, and real feedback:  Smooth concrete and well-placed obstacles. Street section is sick, but can get crowded fast. Bowls are fun but take some time to get used to. Expect a packed park on weekends

Final Verdict

So, is this Berlin’s best skatepark? It’s definitely in the conversation. The variety of obstacles, the quality build, and the overall vibe make it a must-visit. If you’re into street skating, this park delivers with some of the best ledges and rails in the city. If bowls are your thing, you’ll find plenty to enjoy too.

Watch the video, drop a comment, and let us know what you think. Did this park live up to the hype?
