ANGELO CARO TALKS LIFE UNDER RESTRICTIONS IN PERU

Things are, oh so slowly, getting more normal
CHRIS MORGAN  |

There is not a spot on this planet, save for maybe Antarctica, that isn’t getting hit by COVID-19 to some degree. Things got particularly rough for South America, and Peru is certainly no different. That has been rough for everything, including skateboarding. After all, if you are locked down indoors, you can’t really skate. It’s like being a bird with clipped wings. Jart’s Angelo Caro knows what that’s all about, as he discusses in this video.

Caro lives in Peru, which was hit by COVID in a heavy way. That meant government restrictions and a lot of self-isolation. Things have begun to ease up and Caro is able to go out a bit now to walk his dog and, of course, skateboard. All this and more is discussed in the video from Jart, called Back to Normal. However, it’s quite clear that things are not near back to normal, in Peru or elsewhere. If you want to know what life is like for a skater in quarantine, Caro has first-hand experience. Stay safe out there.
